Draft Metalliferous Mines Regulations, 2019

The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) issued the draft Metalliferous Mines Regulations, 2019 in supersession of the Metalliferous Mines Regulations, 1961. These Regulations deals with matters for the prevention of possible dangers in mining in India.

Metalliferous Mines Regulations, 2019 shall apply to every mine other than a coal or an oil mine.

Any person likely to be affected thereby by the draft Regulations, are requested for objections or suggestions, if any, within a period of 3 months from the date on which the copies of this Notification as published in the Gazette of India, are made available to the public. The objections and suggestions, if any, may be sent to the Under Secretary to the Government of India, ISH-II, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Shram Shakti Bhawan, Rafi Marg, New Delhi- 110001.
